Simon has achieved transformational change outcomes both as an external consultant and as a senior line manager (Managing Director level). His experience was forged in the ‘white-heat’ of the burgeoning financial services industry of the 1980/90s when he was a Managing Consultant with Deloitte, and subsequently as a Global Head of large-scale Operations functions (with over 1,000 staff) within major Investment Banks (UBS and Deutsche Bank), as they moved through a period of almost constant reinvention and transformational change.
An independent consultant since 2006, Simon helps leadership teams to envision and realize step-changes in performance in a way that is sustainable, has integrity, and maximizes opportunities for personal growth. Achieving meaningful and lasting change typically also requires behavioural and cultural change and this is where Simon gets most of his ‘fun’.
In recent years Simon has increasingly been called upon not only to lead change but also to act as mentor to senior executives and leadership teams; he counts clients from the widest reaches of the financial services industry as well as other sectors among his portfolio.
Outside work, Simon has a lifelong interest in all things Russian – its literature, history, music and language (including a degree in Russian). He is also the Co-founder and Treasurer of a Cambodia-based charity that provides educational and living support to help underprivileged young people achieve their full potential.
Having worked with Simon since 2011, Boedromion is pleased to welcome him as an Associate.
